History and background |
Plasus Technologies AS, based in Trondheim, Norway, was founded in year 2000. The three co-founders are still part of the companys management team. From the start up, focus was SMS and positioning services, soon developing into Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications in general, using GSM/wireless and Internet technology. Partnering with Nob Electro AS in 2001, the company established as a leading industry player within remote control and monitoring of heating and security systems, developing service concepts and solutions for both the residential and the business market. |
Vision and strategy We are committed to expanding the boundaries of the Internet and aim to become the market leader in Mobile and Internet Accessed Monitoring, Control and Security services. Our strategy for success is to work closely with leading product partners within these industries. We have developed a core technology that allows us to extend the capability and reach of other products and services. Rather than work to expand and compete in one or more of these industries by developing new hardware products, we will grow our business by working in partnership with companies who share our values and intend to extend their own products with Mobile and Internet accessed services. By combining our capabilities, we will each be able to achieve greater success in our respective markets. |
